No, no you cannot make sweet tea by dumping 6 spoonfuls of sugar
into a glass of iced tea.
Ingredients
1/4 teaspoon baking soda
4-6 Family Size tea bags
1 Quart boiling water
1 to 1.5 cups sugar
3 Quarts cool water
Directions
Put the baking soda and tea bags in a gallon size container.
Pour the boiling water over the tea bags and baking soda.
Cover and let steep for about 15 minutes.
Remove and discard the tea bags.
Add the sugar and stir until dissolved.
Add the cool water, and refrigerate until cold.
